Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. ________________________________ Dear ATC members, I am pleased to respond to your request for responses on the projects on Johnson/Sydney, King/South, Broad/Islay and Islay Osos, and King Cul-de-sac. I fully support all of them. I live on Sydney Street. I have lived in San Luis Obispo for over 45 years. I have been completely involved as a pedestrian, bicyclist, and auto driver the entire time. I have been concerned with the project areas identified for the whole time I have lived here. This concern has included safety and convenience to navigate through these areas. They have always been sites that require caution, regardless of the mode of travel. I have been pleased to see the crossing improvement made at Johnson and Sydney street - but it has not yet been totally acceptable. That’s true for the other project sites as well. Making these crossings into safe and convenient sites is essential. Please endorse, and move forward, the projects listed. Keep up the good work that has been improving the city infrastructure greatly. Sincerely, Dale Sutliff 805 440-2412 dalesutliff@me.com Some background: Past member and chair of SLO County Bikeway Advisory Committee Past Advocate position with San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club 1
