Rescheduled Meeting of the Active Transportation Committee
CALL TO ORDER
A Rescheduled Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Active Transportation Committee was called to
order on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. via teleconference, by Chair Mills.
ROLL CALL
Present: Committee Members Donette Dunaway, Timothy Jouet, Briana Martenies (vice-
chair), Russell Mills (chair), and Jonathan Roberts, Nathan Stong
Absent: None
Staff: Adam Fukushima, Luke Schwartz, and Lareina Gamboa

1. Review Minutes of the Active Transportation Committee Meeting of November 18, 2021:
ACTION: UPON MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER JOUET, SECONDED BY
COMMITTEE MEMBER DUNAWAY, CARRIED 6-0, to approve the Minutes of the Active
Transportation Committee Meeting of November 18, 2021, as presented.

2. Higuera Corridor Complete Street Project - Preliminary Design
Active Transportation Manager Fukushima provided a presentation and responded to
Committee inquiries.

ACTION: UPON MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER ROBERTS, SECONDED BY
COMMITTEE MEMBER DUNAWAY, CARRIED 6-0, that the ATC recommend the
continued development of the South Higuera quick build plan and to consider committee
comments as the project moves forward.
3. Prado Creek Bridge
Active Transportation Manager Fukushima provided a presentation and responded to
Committee inquiries.

COMMITTEE MEMBER JOUET, CARRIED 6-0, that the ATC recommend the continued
development of the Prado Creek Bridge design.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 p.m. The next Regular Active Transportation Committee
meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., by teleconference. In addition,
a Special Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2022, by teleconference.
