Greetings Planning Commissioners,
I would like to bring my concerns about the referenced project to the commissioners.
I live adjacent to the subject property at 1780 San Luis Drive.
!. Noise, Central Coast Brewing in it's current location has a two story office/professional building behind the business
which serves as a partial noise barrier to the residences on Palm Street. The application package mentions numerous
additional activities and business operations in the new location which will increase noise levels. On the CCB website, it
mentions a closing time of 8:00pm in it's current location Sunday thru Wednesday. The new location they will be open
until 11:00pm. I request a noise review/study be made a part of the project and suitable buffers/barriers added.
2. CEQA determination of no impact. There is an erosion channel from the parking lot of the 1701 Monterey property
down the bank into San Luis Creek. I have a short video, but am unable to attach it to this email, sorry. I would be glad to
provide it if needed, or escort any interested commissioners to the erosion site.
3. There is a path of travel used by trespassers and if a fence could be added to the project it would restrict access and
benefit the riparian habitat, home to threatened Steelhead Trout. Fence from College Towing impound yard to the
Andrews St. pedestrian bridge over San Luis Creek.
Thank you for your consideration.
I will be out of town when you meet to consider this application and unable to attend the meeting.
Thank you for your time, service to our city and consideration.
Respectfully,
Ron Tilley
