Hello,
As a long time resident of San Luis Obispo, (since 1982), I am respectfully asking that parking rates NOT BE INCREASED. I
truly believe it will detour people from shopping and eating downtown. I was shocked when I found out that we had to
pay for parking until 9:00pm, and now you are wanting to DOUBLE the rates??? Our downtown business’ are barely
recovering from covid, which is currently on the increase, and now you want to give people another reason not to go
downtown?
We need to find ways to bring people to our downtown area, not keep them away.
Please reconsider this option.
