Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. We live south of SLO in Pismo but drive to SLO 2 or 3 times a week. In addition we always have season tickets for SLO Rep (and the PAC). No one ever wants fees of any kind increased but it is necessary in this case to continue to accommodate a growing population AND to support downtown businesses so we are IN FAVOR. We recently went to Paso for an afternoon and evening and found that parking fees have been instituted everywhere near the old town core since we were last there. Again, it's necessary to accommodate both growth and to support that "core" area of Paso. One concern, and an idea we saw in Paso: downtown business employees and sometimes owners cannot always afford these rate increases. We noticed that several of the parking areas in Paso allowed for "city parking stickers," which we assume were distributed in some kind of fair method to business owners/employees. Just our thoughts... Larry & Donna Coffey 1
