This message is from an External Source. Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. To SLO City Council, This is a request to think carefully and reconsider the harm you’d be causing to those on low income salaries and seniors on fixed incomes, if you increase parking rates in downtown. The egregious rise in the cost of gasoline, increased auto insurance rates, and now the proposed increases in downtown parking in SLO, will make the decision to drive into SLO from other areas in the county painful for most, and impossible for many. Especially for those who serve the city as low- income wage earners. Additionally, we as older citizens on a budget, will have to curtail our trips into town. And if we do come in, we’ll have to park and walk from beyond the area where parking meters have been installed, in order to avoid the terrible hit on our pocketbooks. Please do not inflict this harm on your citizens. Sincerely, Deborah Ross DEBORAH ROSS M: 213.400.6185 E: deb@drfilmdesign.com 1
