Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. I do not support the proposed increase in parking rates. The amounts proposed will be easily absorbed by vacationers who are already spending thousands of dollars on a short visit to San Luis Obispo, however, it will be local residents who will have to consider paying the higher rates every time they think of going downtown. Especially egregious is the proposed elimination of the free first hour in the parking structure. This means that it will cost local residents a min. of $3 to go to the library or any of the City or County offices to do business. A fourth parking structure just may not be affordable if the costs make it an unattractive place to park. Niel Dilworth 1198 Lexington Court San Luis Obispo, CA. 93401 1
