I would like to better understand your "vision" for a new parking structure in the cultural arts district because us locals are so tired of the chaos you have created trying to find parking!!! With lack of information on this "vision", we vote NO on increasing parking rates in 2023 and 2025. You have already dramatically reduced the amount of places to park by giving restaurants that space for dining which was put in place during Covid (that I was in favor of), which if I understand correctly you will now allow permanently? Additionally, you have increased the paid parking window to 9 pm without properly posting it/telling anyone! Where was the announcement on this?? This city is being overrun with tourists and cal poly affiliates.. If you are going to increase the price of parking, make them pay for it! Give locals access to parking at a discounted rate through an annual membership program. Carpe Diem, Josh Mason 1
