Dear Council,
I agree with the SLO Climate Coalition that building new buildings with fossil fuel makes
no sense! Clean, all electric new buildings support health, safety, affordability, and
climate.
Specifically, I support the following:
(1) Resolution 11133 is the Policy of the City that new buildings should be all-electric.
(2) Ordinance 1684 requires that mixed-fuel buildings be substantially higher performing
than all-electric buildings and requires solar installations on nonresidential buildings.
