Description of Proposed Work:
Describe the work to be peformed, the hours during which it will be performed, and the type of equipment, processes,
and methods that will be used to perform the work. This information may be provided in a separate written description
of the proposed work, or summarized using the table below.
Map of work area. Identify the general area within which the propsoed work will be performed. Show the location,
name and width of adjacent rights-of-way, property lines, building footprints of nearby structures, and all creeks and
waterways in the vicinity. Include a north arrow and indicate the drawing scale.

To complete construction for the 790 Foothill mixed-use student housing project, hoisting
material along Foothill Blvd. is required due to crane limitations when hoisting from N. Chorro
St. & Cork n’ Bottle’s property. By completing this hoisting during nightwork hours as requested
by the City of San Luis Obispo, public safety concerns and traffic backup complaints will ideally
be reduced.
This application is for the use of Foothill Blvd. using a single lane closure in the number two
West bound lane for a total of sixty (60) non-consecutive working days between 12/13/2021
through 7/31/2022. The hoisting will take place between the hours of 3:00AM and 7:00AM. A
separate traffic control plan will be submitted to Matt LaFreniere for use during these night
workdays.
This work will require a mobile crane, flatbed trucks with backup alarms, horns for OSHA
compliance, and light towers.
