The proposed secondary dwelling unit does not destroy
historic materials, features, or spatial relationships of the
historically significant McHenry House; is compatible with its
size, scale and proportion, and massing; and is clearly
differentiated in structure and style.
The secondary dwelling unit is entirely reversible and if
removed in the future would leave the form and integrity of
the McHenry House and its original environment unimpaired.
