This message is from an External Source. Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. ________________________________ Dear City council Members, although we all care about eventually cleaning up more of our environment, eliminating natural gas in the next few years is a bit premature considering the weakened state of California’s power supply grid. With all electric homes and cars when there are inevitable blackouts of the grid, how will our citizens cook, heat their homes and charge their cars? We are so anxious to eliminate any and all carbon we are simply going to get ourselves into a bigger problem of not enough energy to power everything now being considered. Until we have more nuclear, wind and solar we do not have the means to do this anytime in the near future. I hope you don’t mind working in the dark or without your computers and dead batteries for your E cars when there are the inevitable outages. You would do more good eliminating our dependence on the foreign countries who are polluting the planet the most, by far, than the USA. Perhaps stop supporting goods from China before you eliminate a major source of our energy program. Concerned, George Sent from my iPad 1
