I’m writing to express my support of council passing the resolution affirming reproductive rights slated as item #5G on
the July 5th meeting agenda.
I’ve lived in San Luis Obispo since 1996, when I began attending Cal Poly and I have always appreciated the progressive
nature of the city and the acknowledgement of and assistance for marginalized communities. This resolution supports
the major city goals focused on DEI and as a local small business owner and woman, I am proud that the city is advancing
this important legislation with such immediacy.
