Hello City Council,
I’m writing to share my support for Resolution #5G, Reproductive Right to Freedom in San Luis Obipso.
I fully support #5G discussed on 7/5/2022. Every woman should have a right to her own bodily autonomy & her medical
decision-making should be up to her and her alone. Governments should not assume jurisdiction inside one’s body.
This resolution is important as the wake left by the decision of the supreme court requires larger & more formal actions
by our local governments. We need to ratify freedoms like this one so that they cannot be manipulated depending on
which party is in control of the government.
