Dear Honorable Council Members,
I urge to approve ordinances requiring all new construction in San Luis Obispo County to be fully electric. The evidence
is overwhelming that electrification (with renewable energy sources) of all sectors of our economy is necessary to slow
the progress of climate change. I also support ordinances and construction standards that promote net zero
architecture.
Please take action in one of the few areas where local government can have climate impact. Please provide the
leadership we need to meet this extraordinary challenge.
