I am in full support of Clean Energy for New Buildings. My all electric kitchen has an electric convection oven and
Induction cooktop. This is the European way of cooking, once you have it, you will never go back. All electric is an
UPGRADE from natural gas, not a downgrade. It is less expensive to operate since it is fast and more efficient.
Yes, induction cooktops can cost more so perhaps grant or rebate funds can be offered? Offer incentives when people
remodel too, just like rebates for other energy efficient appliances.
