To City Council Members,
My name is Jeff Spevack, My residence is 2410 Johnson Ave. SLO. I have lived near Johnson and Sydney for 23 years,
walked my kids across the Johnson Sydney crosswalk to Sinsheimer School, witnessed the unsafe traffic on Johnson,
have almost been run over in that crosswalk with my kids and a crossing guard, called the city police numerous times to
patrol Johnson Ave. with radar.
As a local resident, property owner, tax payer, and most of all a caring citizen who wants a calmer, safer city, I urge you
to approve the entire plan to improve this crosswalk, and install a road diet on Johnson Ave. which will take it back to
two lanes!!! It worked on Laurel Lane, and it will work on Johnson Ave.
