Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. ________________________________ Hello- In June of this year traffic cameras were installed at the corners of Mission and Broad and at Chorro and Center. They were there for weeks before being removed. I have not been able to find out what became of the data collected. Is it in a report that you have seen? I am thinking that perhaps a final decision on item 7a could/should be delayed until this data is studied and shared. I am sure staff has been busy designing this parkway/greenway/bike way and perhaps it looks good in the design on paper, but, it is a recipe for disaster on many levels. There have been NO bike vs auto incidents reported on Broad but I am afraid this project will change that. Just a few blocks away, on Foothill Blvd. there have been several bike fatalities. Seems like that should be a priority! The neighborhood needs more lights and safer curbs, not a multi million dollar greenway. Pedestrians should be able to access safe sidewalks. Could you please go back and look at what was discussed and decided through multiple meetings with the public? There were a lot of us involved. It is where we started this project and should not be ignored. Could we focus more on making the neighborhoods user friendly for all? AND before any final decisions are made can we look at the recently collected data and take that into consideration? Could that information please be shared with the public? Thank you, Connie Bruton Sent from my iPad 1
