Madam Mayor and City Council
I just wanted to pledge my support for Chief Scott and the entire police department. I believe they do an excellent job in
watching over our city. There is a lot more going on out there to attend to but the staffing levels appear to be basically
the same as in 2010. If I read it correctly, there were over 37,000 calls for service last year as compared to 2010 with
just over 26,000 calls.
Some crime is up, some is down and some stayed basically the same. My one thought on thefts from cars, if you don't
want items it stolen, lock your car. Novel thought i know, but it might work.
Keep up the good work you do out there, i for one greatly appreciate it.
I am a member of the commonly known "police round table".
