Current Activities:
a. Work with partners to conduct canvassing for Vax education and outreach: 9/23 Shandon 4:00pm - 6:00pm

c. Monitor traffic and neighborhood impacts at Grover Beach Testing Site
d. Finalize contract with Morro Bay Vets Hall for Testing site with target open date of 9/27
e. Work with PIO on guidance for childcare providers.
f. Work with PIO on communications for schools and/or parents on: -Modified Quarantine -Masking Outdoors -Home Testing -Don’t Wait to Isolate
g. Work with Logs to establish mini-grants to partners for vaccine efforts
h. Evaluate vaccine administration priorities and adjust operations as necessary
i. Work with Finance/Admin on grant application budgets and work plan submission.
j. Evaluate testing options for use at schools, JSC, LTCF
k. Work with Logs to evaluate monoclonal vendors
l. Reach out to RCF/ICP list (approx 80 calls to be made) provided by CDPH to determine their ability to do booster doses or whether they have an ongoing pharmacy relationship to meet this need.
Ongoing Activities:
a. Support testing Ops at the SLO Vets Hall and Old Train Station in Paso.
b. Monitor outbreaks. Conduct testing and re-testing at identified outbreak sites.
c. Continue to triage contract tracing/case investigation based on caseload and defined priorities
d. Case Investigation: attempt case investigation on all 0-18 age, workers in a congregate setting, schools, shelters, and reinfected individuals.
e. Text confirmed and probable cases with isolation instructions
f. Call all confirmed cases ages 65+ on days 8-10
g. Call all confirmed cases of SNF workers on days 8-10
h. Provide medical check-ins for homeless in isolation
i. Continue testing outbreak specimens for SARS-CoV-2 at the PH Lab
j. Continue sequencing runs at one per week to determine variant trends
k. Integrate the ClearDx instrument into the sequencing workflow to enhance capacity
l. Continue Identifying census tracts with lowest vaccine rates for targeted canvassing efforts
m. Contact faith community to partner on vaccination efforts.
n. Administer vaccine for 550 appointments plus walk-ins at PHD Clinics: Paso PHD: Mon, Wed, Thurs and Friday; Grover PHD: Mon and Wed; SLO PHD: Tues and Thurs.
o. Review impacts of PHD clinic vaccine incentive campaign and determine best strategy for incentives.
p. Follow up with permitted facilities that have employees who tests positive for COVID-19
q. Provide information regarding the Health Officer Indoor Mask Order during regular EH inspections.
r. Work with Logs to explore additional office space for response staff
s. Work with Logs to recruit more staff
2. LOGS:
Current Activities:
a. Configure new office space for overflow staff at Acacia Creek with appropriate furnishing, networking, and technology needs
Ongoing Activities:
a. Assist with new staffing requests
b. Prepare Acacia Creek (3450 Broad St., Ste 111, SLO) lease amendment to take to BOS to extend for two years
c. Seek BOS approval to accept donations retroactively at beginning of incident and to get delegated authority for DOC Command to 1) dispose of surplus items that have expired or are damaged beyond repair,
and/or 2) donate surplus supplies and equipment to non-profits or other governmental agencies
e. Assist Testing Branch with identifying a South County testing site
3. FINANCE
Current Activities:
a. Prepare for submittal to FEMA all documentation associated with the Vaccination Project and Lab/Testing project as soon as possible.
b. Prepare and disseminate a master spreadsheet for funding sources received
4. PLANS
Ongoing Activities:
a. Prepare Covid19 EPI Survey to be placed into PRODUCTION
b. Get Snowflake imports working on HADBDEV19, so that CHADOC can transition from the current code.
c. Continue data cleanup from CalREDIE and Snowflake
d. Maintain COVID sit-stat data integrity.
e. Generate statistics on cases and vaccination rates.
f. Continue survey development and sql connectivity.
g. Continue discussions with Cal Poly regarding WGS join effort
h. Copy EPI_WORKSPACE, COVID19, VRBIS databases on scheduled job so that EPI's can run ad hoc queries on HADBDEV19.
5. PIO
Current Activities:
a. Share updates and respond to inquiries regarding booster doses for general public
b. Announce new testing site at Morro Bay Vets Hall
c. Onboard and train new PAC staff
d. Collaborate with schools team to share clarifying information and respond to inquiries regarding youth activities, modified quarantine, and at-home testing
e. Collaborate with epi to expand public data dashboard to include information on cases among those age 0-11; prepare related messaging
f. Document stories of individuals willing to share their experience with COVID-19
g. Collaborate with liaison to implement process for following up on complaints related to indoor masking requirement
6. Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator (MHOAC)/Liaison:
Ongoing Activities:
a. Work with PIO, County Counsel & cities on enforcement of in-door mask mandate
b. Maintain situational awareness of bed availability and level loading of patients within Region.
c. Continue to facilitate resource requests for hospitals and community partners
