Subject: Arbitration ruling
This overruling of 7o % of the voters wishes is a rear game changer for our City.
With City Council elections coming soon and Measure Y set to expire in March
2015, people of SLO will have several chances to make some interesting decisions.
You can bet that if the Council does not appeal this ruling the composition of the
Council will certainly be changing. Putting Measure Y on the ballot would be a
real waist of time. If the appal should be lost the result would be the same for
Measure Y, a resounding defeat. It is shameful that when the City was near to
being back on good financial footing it is threatened with loosing control of it's
affairs once again. Let's hope the Council make the best decision Monday.
