1. Agenda review.
2 Attended Parks & Recreation Committee meeting. Natural Resources Manager Bob Hill
presented the Reseruoir Canyon draft plan,
3 Attended the Neighborhood Wellness meeting; Chief Gesell and Community Development
Director Derek Johnson discussed the new approaches to working with Cuesta and Cal Poly on student
behavior issues.
5 Attended the SLO Police Officers' Association fundraiser for its new Scholarship Fund at
Greengate Farms.
6 Attended RQN's annual dinner, where Keith Humphrey, Cal Poly's Vice President of Student
Affairs, was guest speaker.
8 Attended the Downtown Business Association's Board of Directors meeting
9 Attended the Zone 9 Committee meeting, where the Mid-Higuera Bypass project was discussed
(this project will decrease flooding hazards in the vicinity), as well as plans for a new website for Zone 9
linked via the county's water website,
10 Attended the Mayor's Quarterly Advisory Body Meeting.
1.1 Attended Ribbon-cutting Ceremony celebrating the completion of another section of the
Railroad Bike Safety Trail.
