Regular Meeting of the Mass Transportation Committee
CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the Mass Transportation Committee was called to order on Wednesday,
March 9, 2022 at 2:35 p.m. via teleconference, by Chair John Osumi.
ROLL CALL
Present: Committee Members David Figueroa (Vice Chair ‐ At Large), Robin Kisinger (Senior),
Marlene Cramer (Cal Poly), Denise Martinez (Disabled), Brian Kragh (Student), Dinah
Nassar (Alternate), and John Osumi (Chair ‐ Business).
Absent: Committee Member Trevor Freeman (Technical).
Staff: Transit Manager Austin O’Dell, Transit Coordinator Megan Weeks, and Transit
Assistant Jesse Stanley

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
1.Minutes of the Mass Transportation Committee meeting of January 12, 2022.
ACTION: UPON MOTION OF COMMITTEE MEMBER FIGUEROA, SECONDED BY COMMITTEE
MEMBER KRAGH, CARRIED 7‐0‐1 (Member Freeman absent), the Mass Transportation
Committee approved the minutes of January 12, 2021.

Updates were provided on the following:
Revised Modified Academic Service.
Ridership.
Electric Bus Procurement.
COVID‐19 Update.
Marketing and Public Outreach Update.
Route 2A Realignment.
MTC in‐person meetings.
Committee Member Freeman joined the meeting at 2:45 p.m.

ACTION: UPON MOTION OF COMMITTEE MEMBER KISINGER, SECONDED BY COMMITTEE
MEMBER MARTINEZ, CARRIED 8‐0‐0, the meeting was adjourned at 3:12 p.m.
The next Regular Meeting of the Mass Transportation Committee is scheduled for Wednesday,
May 11, 2022, at 2:30 p.m., in the Council Hearing Room, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo,
California.
