Hello folks,
I am writing my support for the 1422 Monterey St. SLO is in desperate need for any and all affordable dense housing
projects. The extra fact that this will be transit oriented with a bid stop and bike lanes is even more exciting. As someone
who has lived on the central coast all my life and is having the stark reality of the housing market projects like these give
me hope that I can stay in the area. I have seen too many projects that destroy massive amounts of open space for
single family sprawl. Convince and sustainability will play into our future here as well. SLO was designed in a time before
that and would benefit to continue as it did in the past with walkable neighborhoods. Please move forward with this
project so people like me who want to stay can.
