The proposed HASLO project at 1422 Monterey Street would be a huge step forward for San Luis Obispo. There are two
issues that dominate San Luis Obispo politics: housing and homelessness; the HASLO project helps address both.
Projects like this one will help bring working people into SLO and help keep rents down for current residents. The
proposed bike lane and the project's proximity to downtown will help to reduce road congestion and increase foot
traffic to the nearby businesses. It's a great project and we should all support it.
