Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. I am a 30 plus slo resident having used Laguna Lake dog park for many years, almost daily. I took part in the survey, Ive studied the results. I have studied the two proposed options. I can say that the options look Very Very little like what folks deemed important or desirable to them. In fact many of the features go almost counter to what people expressed as important to them . Why I ask. Is this a case of government knows best once again? The two options are completely over blown, unnecessary and expensive. They ruin most everything of the park that makes it unique and so loved by our Dogs! Please look at the survey again, glean from it and let common sense into the design formula. Keep it as big, wide open and simple as possible. Some improvements sure, more parking, alot of other folks use those spaces, More Grass! I love trees but can we water all those proposed? A lot of trees died in that park in last couple years. We need more dog parks around town actually. Lets spend the money and use all that design power on other things we do need, that all citizens can use. I could go on and on but I shouldn't have to if The Survey is given value and used for its intended purpose. Please consider further. Respectfully, Scott b. Prentis 805-748-4458 1
