RECOMMENDATIO N
Confirm appointment of Aimee Danielle LaRue to the Housing Authority Board, Family Tenan t
position, to fill an unscheduled vacancy, term ending on March 31, 2013 .
DISCUSSIO N
Due to the resignation of Mandi Milliken from the Housing Authority Board of Commissioner s
there has been an unscheduled vacancy for the family tenant position . Staff posted the notice o f
•unscheduled vacancy in accordance with statutory requirements on October 11, 2012 and posted th e
vacancy through the office of the Housing Authority .
Mayor Jan Marx conducted the interviews on December 6, 2012 . Following the interviews, Mayo r
Marx discussed the candidates with David Booker, current board chair, and recommends th e
appointment of Ms . LaRue .

Housing Authority Board (HA )
The City of San Luis Obispo is seeking applicants to fill an unscheduled vacanc y
for a member on the Housing Authority Board (HA).
HOUSING AUTHORITY : Develops and manages programs to help low an d
moderate-income families, the elderly, and disabled with housing problems . The
Housing Authority is a seven member board . There is one unscheduled vacancy
for a family tenant .
Applicants must be from the Housing Authority's tenant population and a
registered voter in the City of San Luis Obispo . The appointment for this positio n
will be for an unexpired term ending March 31, 2013 .
Residents are encouraged to apply . Applications are available on the City's
website at www.slocity .org or by visiting the City Clerk's office at City Hall, 99 0
Palm Street .
