Inspector Comments: Annual fire sprinkler inspection conducted 01/14/2022,License No.761360. Annual standpipe inspection conducted 01/14/2022,License No.761360. Note:Hydraulic calculations plates found missing on the fire sprinkler riser and class-I standpipe system.Recommend contacting the fire protection contractor associated with the design of these two fire protection systems to obtain to this information. Once hydraulic calculation plates have been obtained for each system,please install per current NFPA 13 Installation of Sprinkler System standards. Fail 2019 California Fire Code CHAPTER 10 MEANS OF EGRESS 1010.1.10 -Panic and fire exit hardware. Code Text: Swinging doors serving a Group H occupancy and swinging doors serving rooms or spaces with an occupant load of 50 or more in a Group A occupancy,assembly area not classified as an assembly occupancy,E,I-2 or I-2.1 occupancies shall not be provided with a latch or lock other than panic hardware or fire exit hardware.For Group L occupancies see Section 453.6.3 of the California Building Code. Exceptions: 1.A main exit of a Group A occupancy shall be permitted to have locking devices in accordance with Section 1010.1.9.4,Item 2. 2.Doors provided with panic hardware or fire exit hardware and serving a Group A occupancy shall be permitted to be electrically locked in accordance with Section 1010.1.9.9 or 1010.1.9.10. Electrical rooms with equipment rated 1,200-amperes or more and over 6 feet (1829 mm)wide,and that contain overcurrent devices,switching devices or control devices with exit or exit access doors,shall be equipped with panic hardware or fire exit hardware.The doors shall swing in the direction of egress travel. Inspector Comments: Interior hallway exit doors found installed without panic hardware in the following locations:Stair No.4 (2nd floor)and Stair No.2 (2nd and 3rd floor). Recommend contacting the project manager associated with the construction of this building and confirm that the exit door hardware (as noted above)has been installed as noted per City permit No.0844-2017. Inspector Comments: Annual fire sprinkler inspection conducted 01/14/2022,License No.761360. Annual standpipe inspection conducted 01/14/2022,License No.761360. Annual fire alarm inspection conducted 01/14/2022,License No.761360. Annual fire extinguisher maintenance conducted 10/2021,License No.13591 (multiple locations onsite). Initial inspection conducted on 02/18/2022 with hotel management.Follow-up inspection conducted on 02/24/2022 to inspect keys installed in knox-box and the repair of fire alarm control panel and main electrical room doors. Note:Hotel management directed to review hotel safety plan requirements as set forth by CFC 406.4.-CFC 406.4.6.Paperwork to be provided to hotel management during initial inspection (02/18/22). Note:As a general reminder outdoor LPG heating appliances should be located a minimum of five feet from combustible materials (i.e.outdoor umbrellas)CFC 603.4.1.13.
