Subject:Preserving the La Loma Adobe

I'm asking the City Council to include the preservation of the La Loma Adobe on Lizzie St in San Luis Obispo in the 2023
to 2025 budget cycle. I have worked many hours in helping cleanup and preserve one of the oldest structures in the city.
In fact, it's a very important phase in achieving one of th4 city's major priorities; diversity and inclusion. That is, it would
be saving one of the few historical and cultural structures from the time when indigenous languages and Spanish were
primarily spoken here.
Honoring the cultural roots of the area is a way to pay homage to a part of our population that has been marginalized.
Please take this into consideration when making your decisions.
