From September 9th, 2017 to January 5th a camera was deployed at Brizzolara & Nipomo and Kentucky & Bond in respose to prowler reports within the city. From January 1st to March 9th cameras were placed at Mission Plaza and Monterey and Chorro in response to planned protests in the plaza. From March 9th to April 25th the cameras were deployed at Marsh & Osos, Nipomo & Higuera and Mitchell Park for additional planned protests. From April 20th to April 25th two cameras were placed on loan to Cal Poly in anticipation of planned demonstrations on campus related to Milo Yiannopoulos. From June 20th to October 15th a camera was placed on South Higuera at Trader Joes due to a series of robberies taking place throughout the state that were targeting Trader Joes stores. From October 15th till present a camera has been placed at Mitchell Park due to ongoing issues with transients at the center.
