Upon receiving your notification, I discussed with owners who went back to the review with the City. I learned from Hamish that approvals for this use was given in the issuance of permit to build and with their recent talks with the City I was told that with the submittal of the application the process would be complete. Is this your understanding? If so, do I need to respond to the requests given in the letter you provided that was issued back in 2020, or do I need to submit a new application? Please advise and I will prepare quickly either way. ~Anna <~WRD0004.jpg> Anna Olson General Manager 805.592.3888 | https://www.hotelcerro.com anna@hotelcerro.com 1125 Garden St. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 <~WRD0004.jpg> <~WRD0004.jpg> <~WRD0004.jpg> <~WRD0004.jpg> <~WRD0004.jpg> On Jan 5, 2023, at 12:10 PM, Buckley, Nick <nbuckley@slocity.org> wrote: Are there any updates on the outdoor seating/application? After you left the property, our Accounting department sent me what they had on file and noted that they believe that at some point it was decided that the permit for this easement would be included in our current business license and a Waiver & Release of Liability was included. Please take a look and let me know if this shines any light on the question at hand. If that is not the case, we look to you to assist us in getting our permit current. I have included Sheila Henley from our Corporate Accounting office to ensure we can keep this process moving forward with everyone at the table. Thank you again. <~WRD0003.jpg> Anna Olson General Manager 805.592.3888 | https://www.hotelcerro.com anna@hotelcerro.com 1125 Garden St. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 <~WRD0003.jpg> <~WRD0003.jpg> <~WRD0003.jpg> <~WRD0003.jpg> <~WRD0003.jpg> On Dec 7, 2022, at 12:03 PM, Buckley, Nick <nbuckley@slocity.org> wrote: Greetings Matt and Graham, 4 Code enforcement recently received a complaint regarding tables and chairs for the Brasserie (1119 Garden) that are encroaching onto the public right of way/sidewalk. Graham, please advise the status of the attached Planning application and/or if a new application will need to be processed. Our outdoor dining ordinance recently changed. More information is available here: https://www.slocity.org/government/department-directory/public-works/programs-and-services/transportation- planning-and-engineering/outdoor-dining. For the encroachment permit portion, which I would be your contact on, I would need a current version of the attached insurance documents (COI with an additional insured endorsement). I would also need an approved plan (after it’s been processed with the Planning Division/Graham) and billing contact information for the new sidewalk rental fees, described at the link and in this table: 2 Thank you, Matt LaFreniere pronouns he/him/his Permit Technician Community Development Engineering Development Review 919 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401-3218 E mlafreni@slocity.org T 805.781.7015 slocity.org Stay connected with the City by signing up for e-notifications 3 From: Anna Olson <anna@hotelcerro.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 7, 2022 12:37 PM To: Buckley, Nick <nbuckley@slocity.org> Cc: LaFreniere, Matt <mlafreni@slocity.org>; Bultema, Graham <gbultema@slocity.org>; Sheila Henley <sheila@hotelcerro.com> Subject: Re: Brasserie - Encroachment Permit Thank you Nick.
