Take a look at Pacific Street bordering Emerson Park, then go to Carmel street between Pacific and Pismo,
Note the two and three story buildings stuffed into former driveways, and tiny apts. which block the light on the street
and
view of Madonna Mountain. Early payback for political "contributions" from developers hell bent to get payback for
their
payola fast. And when students cram in two and three to an apt. to afford the rent we'll get noise in former quiet
residential streets.
as well as no parking on the street.
. We are getting shafted by the developers And politicians who have taken their money. But quality of life is taking a hit
right now
with much more pain to follow. I say don't desecrate the quality of life in the south end by packing in all the kids who
can;t
afford the million dollar homes adjacent to Madonna Plaza. We lost vital farmland for expensive slums there.
Don't do it to the Southend too. Think first of all of us who called Southend Slo Home.
