Good morning,
I'm writing to ask that you consider adding safe bike parking to the management plan. I live in SLO and ride
my bike to work every day. My bike was stolen from a bike rack that was located just in front of the public
works building. It was locked. I am out the $400 that the bike cost when I purchased, and additional money to
purchase a new bike. It is now inside my office, in a county building.
I am concerned for all bike riders and do not want them to be a victim like I was. I encourage the city to provide
access to secured bike parking in some capacity. Merely locking a bike to a rack just doesn't cut it.
