Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. How are the elderly expected to deal with quickly moving bikes now propsed to be riding on the sidewalk? Let alone children, adults, and even the homeless with their stuff on every corner. Even residential sidewalks are often populated by people gettng in and out of their cars, mailboxes, delivery people, hydrants, cars exiting and entering etc etc. Seems exceptionally dangerous. There's no room for cyclists speeding through. Not even temporarily. Please do not go forward with this awful proposal that harms everyone but one group that already has (new!) infrastructure in place. It's simple, bikes need to stay in the bike lane. Also; how many sidewalks end abrutply( no walk down) throughout SLO? Are you going to modify every single one? How much more money is going to be spent for bikes? Cyclist arent gonna like the blind bumps either... just gonna exclude the handicapped? Why weren't these efforts made for them in the first place? Hmm... This is clearly not a good plan. How is this even on the agenda? I smell corruption and interest preferences... looking around SLO, it's obvious. Cyclists don't rule the world fyi. 1
