Hello City Council Members,
I am writing to express my support for the North Chorro Neighborhood Greenway and to encourage you to approve the
construction contract as recommended by staff in Agenda Item 6d. for the March 7, 2023 Council meeting.
The Greenway provides an important north/south corridor for pedestrians and bicyclists to more safely travel to and
from home, work, businesses and services. It also improves the Chorro street crossing under 101 which is a major
barrier for safe travel north/south throughout the City.
Your staff have worked hard to engage the community in the development of the project and to secure highly
competitive grant funding. I'm looking forward to the completion of the project!
