Dear Council Members,
Please do not approve the proposed dramatic increase in cost for the proposed North Chorro Bikeway. The Council already approved a cost of 3.4 million dollars
and this was a significant increase from the original proposal of just over 1 million. Now you are being asked to allow the city to spend 6.4 million dollars!
I ask that you keep the funding at $3.4 million and require that the project change it's plans to spend within that budget.
Couldn't the city better spend any extra money on Foothill Blvd to address the ongoing safety needs there and stop any more deaths?
