Dear San Luis Obispo City Council Members,
I am writing to express my continued support for the North Chorro Neighborhood Greenway. We need to get this
project done, and I am urging you to approve the additional funding required to make it happen.
As a resident of the city and the North Chorro neighborhood I believe this project is vital towards a bright future in San
Luis Obispo. I live on the proposed greenway route at Broad and Murray. Every day I watch many cyclists and
pedestrians pass through what will become the N Chorro Greenway to work and school. The route is narrow and cars
often drive fast. Even though the project will reduce street parking. I believe the net impact is tremendously positive due
to the potential for a safer and more desirable active transit route.
Additionally, this area has serious barriers to accessibility and the pedestrian improvements that are a part of this
project will ensure that I can share my neighborhood with all friends and family (top of my mind is my 86 year old
grandpa, who will be visiting for my graduation in June).
Please continue to support this project for the good of our city,
