Hello
I received your mail regarding the proposed Traffic Circle at the intersection of Buchon and Toro.
I have visited the Public Works page and found the information provided unclear. Your aim with this
project is to ensure safer and more efficient traffic flow in the area, and I believe that a Traffic Circle is
an ineffective solution for achieving this goal.
You want to control traffic but I have a hard time believing that a new Traffic Circle would achieve this.
If controlling traffic is truly your goal why not install a Stop Sign on Buchon Street at Toro. It would
save the city a ton of money and control the traffic as well.
I travel that street 2 to 4 times a day and only notice traffic Monday through Friday from the hours
8:15am to 8:25am while the High School is in session. While the school was out of session during the
pandemic there was no traffic. I am not for this project as it seems like a waste of money and time.
Thank you
