The staff would recommend continuance of this proposal in order to allow the applicant to revise the site layout and landscape plan, in accordance with the following staff concerns: 1. The new building should be set back 5' from the front property line (code requirement). 2. The proposed westerly driveway cut should be relocated to the East. 3. The office building and small corrogated metal building in front of it should be removed. 4. A more comprehensive landscape proposal should be developed. 5. The driveways and parking areas shall be paved and the outdoor storage area shall be an all weather dust free surface installed (to City code). 6. The parking spaces shall be revised in order to meet City Code requirements. 7. A general cleanup of the property should be accomplished prior to the issuance of a building permit. Commr. Kimball questioned location of the skylights and thought they did not meet the building code. Commr. Field objected to the type of building, its design, mechanical equip- ment and skylights. t" Mr. Rod Erb, applicant, felt it was a better looking structure than the neighboring buildings. He noted the other buildings on the site will eventually be removed.
