Dear Members of the City Council,
I urge you to consider stabilization, restoration and rehabilitation of La Loma Adobe even as you are dealing with our
community's current needs. This cultural landmark, when restored, can become an educational resource for the City and
a source of pride for all our Latino residents, workers and visitors as well as all San Luis Obispoans. Saving a structure
that embodies a significant part of our cultural heritage is a vital way to remember how we got to where we are today.
Please find a way to make sure this important landmark does not become a virtual memory! A picture does not really
adequately portray our early settlement days.
