Greetings women of the city council:
While I am in support of tiny homes and have the realization of the housing needs of the state and community
- I believe that it is inappropriate to compromise the integrity of one of the city’s historic adobes.
The Canet adobe would serve as an anchor to the linear path of museums and art venues from the mission to
Dana street. In fact it is near the second site of our historic mission until burned; having our third site near
mission plaza becoming the final location.
The suggestion to compromise the site and turn it into a tiny home “trailer park” leaves me cold; please
consider investing in the adobe as you have the parking garage and save an historic piece of our community
fabric for the future; once it is gone it is gone forever.
Thank you for all you do,
Stephan Lamb
