7 Attended SLOCOG /RTA meeting; attended bike rack dedication at CL Smith
School
8 Interviewed by Cal Poly student for the Mustang News; interviewed by
KSBY regarding wayfinding signs; attended the Investment Oversight
Committee; attended the 40th anniversary celebration for SLO Transit.
9 Attended the new Homeless Services Center Forum run by the League of
Women voters; attended the memorial service for Judge Christopher Money.
12 Met with Kevin Bonmarito, staffer for Bill Monning; conducted ribbon
cutting ceremony for the way finding signs; met with Carlyn Christianson
regarding City Selection Committee meeting of June 4.
13 Met with the Downtown Association Food and Beverage Committee and Cal
Poly Vice President for Student Services Keith Humphrey; met with Mat
Quaglino regarding Parking Lot 10; chaired Whale Rock Commission
meeting.
14 Represented the SLO Air Pollution Control District Board at regional
meeting in Santa Barbara; met with Cal Poly President Jeffrey Armstrong
regarding neighborhood stabilization and other potential topics for an MOU
with Cal Poly.
15 Attended SCLC meeting at Cal Poly; attended President's Community
Service Award ceremony.
16 Represented SLOCOG at the Coast Rail Coordinating Committee (CRCC)
meeting in Santa Barbara, advocating for a second train from LA to San
Francisco. CRCC is negotiating for a dedicated stream of revenue from Cap
and Trade and has the backing of Amtrak.
19 Quarterly meeting with Community Development staff, attended San Luis
Ranch study session.
