•I-li Jan ,
Just wanted to drop you a note that I hope you approve SLO Brew's move tonight . I definitelyunderstand the concerns on both sides, but SLO Brew is extremely well-run and it's one of the fe wplaces where people of a wide age range can go and listen to new, independent music, eat a meal ,
havea beer and relax with friends . Since Paul Brown stopped allowing bands (other than his own) at th eoldMother's Tavern,it's been pretty much SLO Brew and Frog & Peach .
I used to work in the exact building under review (when I worked for Pierre Rademaker), and I can tel lyou that it's a loud, loud location . Street traffic, Harleys blasting down Higuera, music from stores ,alarms . It's not like you're dropping a nightclub into a quiet corner of SLO- if anything, it fits a Ibt bette ron Higuera than it does on Garden . Even from the creek and Mission Plaza, you have Novo's, Frog &Peach, Creeky Tiki and now Luna Red .
I know you have to make a lot of tough decisions for the future good of the city and listen to a wid e
variety of constituents, so here's my two cents : keeping the music culture alive and healthy is a
worth ycause.
Thank you ,.Dusty
