Hello SLO City Council members -
My name is Willy Rosenblatt and I am a young local resident of SLO . I have lived here almost all my life an d
as a local resident, student, and patron of downtown SLO, I would like to express my support for SLO Bre w
and their new location for several reasons :
•Nobody is able to support music the way SLO Brew does . They appeal to all genres, ages, an d
demographics ; I'm seeing a rock show at SLO Brew in two weeks, my parents are seeing Dick Dal e
•tomorrow, and my roommate just saw Lindsey Sterling . This diversity is unique to San Luis Obispo an d
can't be found anywhere else, not even in a big city . We are blessed to have such a venue in SLO and i t
is important that we support them as a community .

•The professionalism of SLO Brew, it's owners, management, and employees is far beyond the other lat e
night venues in downtown SLO . I am a sober patron of many of the bars and I can contest first han d
that the success SLO Brew has had is no accident . I can't argue with some of the criticisms opponents o f
the "the bars" have, but these criticisms do not apply to SLO Brew . I cannot recall the last time I sa w
incident occur at SLO Brew . SLO Brew is working hard to change the stereotype of "the bars" b y
leading through example and they have set themselves apart in becoming a San Luis Obispo classi c
establishment .
•Many of the criticisms I have read or heard about the move are completely misinformed and any mino r
complications caused the new location are heavily out weighed by the contributions that SLO Bre w
brings to this community . The owners and management of SLO Brew are detailed oriented an d
they truly believe in good music, good brews, their brand, and most importantly, their community .
I often hear people talk about saving downtown SLO There is no better opportunity for smart growth b y
supporting local businesses and establishing a cultural hub that embodies the culture of San Luis Obispo in th e
heart of our downtown . I ask for you to support SLO Brew and their quest for their new location .
