Bob,
Thank you for taking the time to contact the City Council with your input on the Safe Parking program.
The City Council has received your comments and by copy on this note they are being shared with
staff in the Community Development Department for documentation and consideration by the Director
during review of the proposed project. The Director, Timmi Tway, or a member of her staff will be in
contact with you within two business days to let you know if there are further opportunities to supply
input, as you are correct that it is not on the Agenda for the current City Council meeting. Of course
you may make comment on the topic during Item 4, Public Comment Period for Items not on the
Agenda. For your convenience, the agenda is linked below.

As this issue is not on the agenda, am I right to assume that it cannot be heard and that no council
action can be taken?
I do not support the idea of neighborhood homeless parking camps. The camps should be restricted
to areas that have the least impact on Neighborhood Wellness. An optimum location would be
adjacent to the Prado Day Center, a location that offers nearby services that the many unfortunate
people in our society can access without disturbing neighborhoods that are not zoned for camping.
