Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. My roommate and I support the interim safe parking area in the little-used end of Palm Street within 300 ft of our residence. The proposed plan addresses our top concerns about the project, including restrooms, water, and trash collection, as well as there being contacts to reach out to if there are issues, and having an expected duration of not more than three months. We hope that the intended plan to move to at least 12 other locations is able to procede more quickly, but people need a place to be in the meantime. A remaining concern is where people already living around the area can legally park overnight once these spots are repurposed. Some of us already have to park and walk some distance to our residence due to crowding during the night when all the students are in residence. Can these people legally and safely park in the closed street in the 100 ft buffer behind the "safe parking" people? Thank you. Amelia Aarestad 1
