Subject: Disparaging comments at ITGA
It has come to my attention that there were extremely disparaging comments made by Justin Wellner at the
ITGA meeting that many of you attended. Most of you have failed to defend or represent your constituents and
SLO residents during the Poly Dorm process.
However, when a representative of the University (Justin Wellner) gets up in front of an international gathering
and accuses your fellow council members of "posturing and pandering" that has gone too far. When Justin
Wellner makes personal attacks against the present mayor that has gone too far. When Justin Wellner states
"just for giggles" regarding a past and respected former mayor that has gone too far.
What have you done regarding this despicable behavior? We have seen that you don't stand with or defend your
residents locally or at the Long Beach Trustees meeting so we certainly don't expect you to defend us at this
international meeting. However, we do expect you to defend our City Representatives, past and present.
This a glimpse of the true cultural attitude of Cal Poly administration. ,How can you sit by and let Cal Poly
insult our City Representatives? How low is your moral bar?
