Andres is aware of the procedures for completing the site inspection, which consists of walking the site and completing the site inspection form. This does not require anyone from the property management and/or board to be present at the site. We are beginning to include property managers/owners in our communication with Site Supervisors to increase awareness and accountability.    Thank you for reaching out and feel free to follow up with further questions about the site inspection process.    Regards.    Nick Teague Water Resources Program Manager <image001.png>  Public Utilities 879 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401-2710 E nteague@slocity.org T 805.781.7217 C 805.440.5054 slocity.org   <image002.png>    <image003.png>    <image004.png>  Stay connected with the City by signing up for e-notifications  From: CHRISTI NEMETZ <queenhoovie@yahoo.com>   Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2023 4:30 PM  To: Teague, Nick <nteague@slocity.org>  2 Cc: Fortner, Kellie <kfortner@slocity.org>; Layne Smith <sjlayne21@gmail.com>  Subject: Fwd: REMINDER: Recycled Water Site Inspections due in March 2023        This message is from an External Source. Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond.    Good afternoon Nick and Kellie,      The board of Montage at Serra Meadows just received this email regarding a recycled water site  inspection to occur in March. Since this is the first time the board has ever received a notification such  as this, we are not certain who our site supervisor is. Would this be Andres Rubio with BrightView  Landscaping?     If he is indeed our site supervisor, will you be setting up an appointment with him? I believe you have  met with him previously and hopefully have his contact information. Does a member of the property  management company and/or the board need to be present for this inspection as well?     Thanking you in advance for your assistance,  Christi Nemetz   Sent from my iPad    Begin forwarded message:  From: Debbie Kilroy <debbie.kilroy@managementtrust.com>  Date: February 22, 2023 at 11:03:09 AM PST  To: Layne Smith <sjlayne21@gmail.com>, Roxanne Rassti <rrassti@gmail.com>, CHRISTI  NEMETZ <queenhoovie@yahoo.com>, Devin Langley  <Devin.Langley@managementtrust.com>  Subject: FW: REMINDER: Recycled Water Site Inspections due in March 2023     Good morning, Board,     Please see the below email and attached procedure from the SLO Water Resources  Manager.     Thank you,     Debbie Kilroy, CCAM | Community Association Manager   Champion Employee Owner   The Management Trust   1400 Madonna Road • San Luis Obispo, California 93405   P: (805) 602‐9115 x3304       HOW DID WE DO?  My goal as an employee‐owner is to create a wonderful customer experience. Please let  3 me know how I am doing by taking this brief survey.  If I exceeded your expectations, or you have other feedback about your experience,  please let my supervisor Crystal Rost know at (805) 602‐9133 x3133 or by email at  crystal.rost@managementtrust.com      From: Teague, Nick <nteague@slocity.org>   Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2023 10:22 AM  To: Teague, Nick <nteague@slocity.org>  Cc: Fortner, Kellie <kfortner@slocity.org>  Subject: REMINDER: Recycled Water Site Inspections due in March 2023     Recycled Water Site supervisors and Property Managers/Owners,    This email serves as a reminder that First Quarter 2023 Site Inspections will be delivered next month. To ensure that the City remains compliant with its State- issued permit, we ask that you comply with the policies described in the City’s Procedures for Recycled Water Use. Below are some things to consider when completing this quarter’s inspection forms.    1. Meter reads are required this quarter. This requirement has been added to ensure that Site Supervisors are aware of their meter’s location, know how to read the water consumption using the meter, and know how to recognize irrigation system issues using the meter’s error codes. The City will still be reading each meter monthly for billing purposes. Ultimately, the goal is to provide Site Supervisors with tools and information that can be used to optimize irrigation system operation.    If Site Supervisors would like assistance learning the location of, and how to read their site’s water meter, please contact the Utilities Department prior to the inspection due date.    For those that do not want to provide a meter read, you will be required to submit a record of all inspections, modifications, and repair work for the quarter. The City’s Procedures for Recycled Water Use state that Site Supervisors should “establish and maintain an accurate record keeping system of all inspections, modifications, and repair work”.    Inspection forms without a meter read or without an attached record of inspections, modifications, and repairs will be deemed incomplete and non-compliant.    2. Ensure that the inspection form is completed with accurate information and submitted on or before the due date. Inaccurate or late inspection forms will be deemed non-compliant.    3. Inspection forms can only be signed and submitted by the Site Supervisor on record with the City. If you are no longer a Site Supervisor for a recycled water site, please notify the Utilities Department. New Site Supervisors must complete on-site training with Utilities Department staff before they can sign and submit an inspection form. Inspection forms signed and/or submitted by someone other than the Site Supervisor will be deemed non-compliant.    4 4. Non-compliant inspection forms will result in suspension of recycled water service. Recycled water service will be restored only after non- compliance issues have been resolved. A reconnection fee of $50 will be charged for reconnection of service within 5 business days, or $358 for reconnection within 24 hours.      Nick Teague Water Resources Program Manager  <image001.png>  Public Utilities 879 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401-2710 E nteague@slocity.org T 805.781.7217 C 805.440.5054 slocity.org  <image002.png>  <image003.png>  <image004.png>  Stay connected with the City by signing up for e-notifications
