Well, the board of trustees passed the Cal Poly Dorm Site with little to no opposition from the city, and now the city is
going to accept
$500,000 from cal poly only if it can get the funding. So basically there is no obligation, nothing legally binding, for cal
poly to come up with that amount, which is paltry considering what needs to be mitigated.
To the two members of the City Council who have consistently blocked any progress on our behalf I ask that you
remember who your constituents are and please help us.
