Hello,
I am writing in support of the date palm tree removal at 1250 Palm Street. I have witnessed the danger of the heavy
palm fronds and pods which can easily injure people walking by. This tree is not a native tree and I think given the
danger and the cost to keep these trees maintaining is a very big burden to homeowners.
Just last year when my tree dropped fronds and ponds they nearly fell on my mom’s head. She is 80 years old and that
would have caused very serious injury! Please see images that are attached.
I am very sorry that I cannot make it to the meeting on September 25th, but I hope that you will be able to forward my
support to the tree committee members in time to review before the 5:30 PM meeting.
